Each regular adult Sunday school class meets at 10:15am on Sunday mornings.
Do you ZUMBA? Anyone who is interested in ZUMBA at the church please come in December Mon/Fri 8:30am and Tues/Thurs 5:30pm at a cost of $2 per person.
Brrrrrr! It's cold outside! We're collecting hats, scarves and mittens for the students at Black Hawk. Add your donation to the tree in the lounge throughout January! We will also continue to collect Socks for Students Some children come to school with out socks, especially in winter. Please bring those socks and place them in the baskets at the back of the church. Larger sizes will be distributed to the middle schools. Card Group Faith's card group will be meeting on February 6th at 12:30pm and then on February 20th, weather permitting.
GAME ON!! On Sunday February 5th, 140 million Americans will tune in to the Super Bowl football game. There will be parties with abundant food, friendship and fellowship. At the same time, there will be people worrying about staying warm, finding shelter and a warm meal. Each year we collect cans of soup (and cash) as part of the National Souper Bowl Campaign. This collection goes to Grace Food pantry, Serving Jesus Willingly and Holiday food baskets. As added incentive this year we will again be having a fun little contest between the Saturday night and Sunday morning services. Can we beat or number from last year? 986 cans of soup total 434 9:00am Service 552 4:30pm Service You can also drop $1 (or more) in the soup pot as you leave worship on February 4th/5th. It's GAME on!!!!
Faith is the host for the Classic Guitar Society Concerts. The next Concert will be on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 8:00pm here at Faith. Tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for seniors and students. Mark Your Calendars NOW!! PANCAKES AND PASTA The Youth are headed to New Orleans for the 2012 ELCA National Youth Gathering To help fund their trip they will be hosting two special events. One will be a Pancake Supper on February 22nd, Ash Wednesday, at 6:00 pm. Sign up at the Welcome Center so we know how much to prepare for. The other will be a Pasta dinner on March 31st. Please come out and support the youth!
