Video Help Do you have a way with computers? Then do we have a ministry for you. We need people to help with Video Projection for the weekend services. Training is provided. If you are interested please see Dean Muller or call the church office.

The Annual Meeting for Faith Lutheran Church will be held on

January 10th following worship at 5:30pm and on the 11th in between services. Adoption of budget and ministry plans for 2009 will be discussed. All members are urged to attend. Reports are available at the Welcome Center. There will be a congregational forum following church today after 9:00am.

Congregational Retreat On Saturday January 31 we will have a planning retreat. We invite all congregational members and friends to a congregational retreat, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (lunch will be provided). Please join the staff, leadership team and all team leaders as we map out our ministry for 2009. Call the church office to register.

Mitten and Hat Tree

Brrrrrr! It's cold outside! We're collecting hats, scarves & mittens for the students at Black Hawk. Add your donation to the tree in the lounge throughout January!

Souper Bowl

On Sunday February 1^st, 140 million Americans will tune in to the Super Bowl football game. There will be parties with abundant food, friendship and fellowship. At the same time, there will be people worrying about staying warm, finding shelter and a warm meal. Each year we collect cans of soup (and cash) as part of the National Souper Bowl Campaign. This collection goes to Grace food pantry and food baskets. Over the last two years we have collected over 1,000 cans of soup (2007 - over 400 and 2008 - over 600). Can we improve that this year? We will start collecting soup immediately. You can bring it in anytime. Watch the collection grow. Invite your neighbors and small groups to participate with us.
