The Team Concept...

Our new programming structure was designed and implemented by our Transition Team and the Leaders of the five Teams that FELC created to implement and oversee the programs that are vital to our success in ministry. There are over 20,000 unchurched people within three miles of our church who could begin or restart a life with Christ. It is important that we try to understand how to reach them.

One of the key factors for growth and outreach is to have a healthy church body. This requires a balance of F-A-I-T-H, which can be described as:

Friends (Fellowship)
Adore God (Worship)
Invite (Evangelism)
Teach (Discipleship)
Help Others (Ministry)

It is important for us not to loose sight of the goal of reaching others. Christ himself, in Matthew Chapter 28, Verse 19, admonishes us to "go and make disciples of all nations". It would be easy to look inward and focus on making ourselves more comfortable; however, that is not what God has called us to do. Our Congregation has adopted an aggressive plan to give us a chance to reach others and grow accordingly. As with anything worthwhile, this requires hard work and sacrifice.

We invite anyone who would like to begin, or restart, a relationship with Jesus Christ, to join us and and be a part of our New Beginnings for our neighbors and future members. There are rich opportunities awaiting all of us in God's service.
